    Assistant Manager - Chick-fil-A

    Reports To: General Manager

    Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000 per year and bonuses

    Hyde Park Hospitality seeks Assistant Managers for Chick-Fil-A at Chicago O'Hare International Airport

    Overview

    The Assistant Manager (AM) role at Chick-fil-A involves supporting the General Manager in managing restaurant operations efficiently. The AM ensures the restaurant is clean, well-prepared, adequately staffed, and maintains high operational standards by following established policies and procedures.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Completing opening, daily, and closing checklists as per company guidelines
    • Managing retail services program and identifying new business opportunities
    • Supervising day-to-day activities in the restaurant and related points of sale
    • Conducting interviews, making hiring decisions, and promoting the company as an employer of choice
    • Maintaining proactive human resource practices and ensuring diversity and inclusion
    • Resolving customer and associate issues, assigning tasks, and managing schedules
    • Ensuring compliance with rest breaks, maintaining cleanliness, and equipment functionality
    • Monitoring product and service quality, overseeing cash handling, safety procedures, and placing orders
    • Updating contact information for restaurant associates

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree with 2-4 years of food and beverage experience OR Associate's Degree with 4-6 years of relevant experience
    • Minimum 6 years of food and beverage, cash handling, or customer service experience
    • At least 4 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work with confidential information
    • Availability to work various shifts, including opening and closing hours
    • Capability to handle mathematical concepts and comply with sanitary standards

    Additional Details

    • FLSA Status: Exempt
    • Travel Requirements: Less than 10%
    • Operating Hours: Monday-Saturday 4:00 AM-11:00 PM; Closed Sundays
