- Work with sales account teams to develop and close client opportunities and drive revenue
- Translate customer requirements into functional system designs.
- Take the lead in pre-sales discussions, discovering and defining customer requirements surrounding data center solutions and services
- Develop proposals that incorporate the designs that address clients' specific business needs.
- Review pre-construction design and documentation.
- Assist with technical design, pricing, and identifying any project challenges.
- Create functional system descriptions and block diagrams.
- Identify all cabling and miscellaneous project material needs.
- Provide material and labor estimates for projects.
- Customer liaison for engineering inquiries.
- Assist sales account executives in presenting technology updates
- Achieve vendor and manufacturer certification, as needed
- Perform related duties, as required
- Advanced computer skills as required for the design, configuration, and operation of AV equipment
- Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines Communicate and interact with internal employees, clients and colleagues in a professional and timely manner
- Proven business writing skills
- Proficient with test and calibration equipment
- Support user acceptance testing
- Ability to diagnose complex system problems A minimum of 3 years' experience in audio visual industry.
- Ability to translate and communicate technical features and concepts into tangible benefits.
- Previous experience creating quotes or Statements of Work (SOW's) with accuracy and in a timely manner.
