    Description

    JOB SUMMARY

    Service coordinators assist with setting clients up for services and coordinating their care needs in compliance with regulations. They manage a caseload of clients in Medicaid programs and update care plans as needed.


    JOB DUTIES

    • Supervise and maintain a caseload of clients in Medicaid programs
    • Manage clients' care needs in compliance with regulations and program rules
    • Oversee intake and referral processes for business growth
    • Provide leadership and training
    • Promote office cohesiveness
    • Supervise day-to-day operations
    • Collaborate with stakeholders for service delivery
    • Engage in public speaking
    • Communicate effectively
    • Ensure compliance with legal requirements
    • Conduct reporting and oversight
    • Demonstrate dependability and problem-solving skills
    • Show proficiency in computer usage
    • Manage complex service programs and projects
    • Lead special projects and enrollments
    • Stay updated on workflow coordination
    • Market services to referrals
    • Participate in professional development
    • Prioritize tasks efficiently
    • Provide excellent customer service
    • Represent the company at meetings and fairs
    • Supervise project completion
    • Train and oversee employees
    • Enroll clients and employees in systems as required
    • Conduct client assessments and visits
    • Handle escalated complaints
    • Bilingual preferred in some locations
    • Other duties as assigned


    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field preferred
    • 3 years of experience with individuals with disabilities or the elderly preferred
    • Combination of education and experience
    • Leadership experience is a plus
    • Ability to work flexible hours if needed


    The work environment is typically in an office setting, requiring the use of a computer and telephone. The noise level is consistent with an office environment. The employee may face interruptions during the day and should be able to perform various physical tasks. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
