    Job Summary:

    As an Authorization Representative, you will be responsible for scheduling patient procedures accurately and efficiently, coordinating with patients and staff to gather necessary information.

    Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Gather patient information for procedure scheduling
    • Coordinate patient procedures efficiently
    • Assist with insurance pre-certification
    • Provide counseling to patients regarding pre-service requirements
    • Perform clerical and reception duties
    • Other duties as assigned

    EDUCATION

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    EXPERIENCE

    • No previous experience required

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling objects
    • Sitting, standing, walking, reaching
    • Vision and depth perception use
    • Hearing and speech communication
    • Keyboard use/data entry
    • Bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping
    • Occasional heavy lifting and climbing
