- Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control
- Design and analyze mechanical systems for buildings, ensuring compliance with codes and standards
- Perform calculations and simulations to optimize system performance and energy efficiency
- Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, and reports
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other design disciplines to integrate mechanical systems
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on building systems
- Proficiency in engineering design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
- Experience with energy modeling software (e.g., Trane Trace 700)
- Strong knowledge of building codes and standards
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and project teams
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
