Within the Creator Team, the Creator Engagement & Community team is responsible for:

Developing creator programs based on content ecosystem and product needs/opportunities (eg CPB, 1min+ creator onboarding program, creator plan for Met Gala, booktok creator program, etc).
Developing frameworks for community building through DE&I initiatives, GR social impact needs and creator recognition programs (eg BlackTikTok, CasaTikTok, TTfG, Ambassador programs, Creator Councils, etc). Standardize how we drive creator advocacy.
Building creator campaigns around scaled programs, scaled education, DE&I, and creator recognition that target TT creators and nonTT creators and are aimed at changing perception and driving creator engagement.
Unify our approach to key creator events (eg TikTok Awards, creator summits) and key creator industry events (eg Vidcon).
For all of the above, responsible for scaling these efforts to local/regional teams ensure constant dialogue and valueadd as well as responsible for executing in NA.

Responsibilities:

This role reports into the Creator Events Lead on the Creator Marketing Team, which is a part of the broader Creator Engagement & Community Team
Develop and execute a variety of creator events ranging from TikTokowned events (eg creator summits, TikTok Awards) to creator industry events (eg VidCon)
Develop scaled frameworks to guide local/regional teams in executing standardized creator events in their local markets
Establish creator events calendar for 2024 for North America in alignment with Creator Team priorities and business objectives/OKRs
Endtoend experiential project management including:
Experiential ideation, ROI development, brief building, budget projections and leadership alignment
Agency/vendor(s) production briefing, selection, and endtoend management
Experiential creative design and visual identity development
Full event production management including: all vendors and venues, location services, run of show, audio, visual, builds, installations, food & beverage, stage running, staffing, call sheets and more
Full event communications and travel management including all internal + external partner communications and creator and leadership communications. Includes invite creation, deployment, RSVP tracking and onsite accreditations & ticketing management.
Full onsite management including: environmental health & safety, security, risk management, and more
Post event tracking and communications including budget reporting, ROI, KPI and OKR tracking
Partner closely with internal partners including Marketing, Content, Government Relations, Legal, Product, Comms, Procurement, EHS, Sales, and additional teams to ensure all activity and communications are aligned with company initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
Event experience in the creator ecosystem
Experience delivering events and experiences, especially in the creator space
Experience working directly with talent / creators / industry stakeholders
Strong crossfunctional skills, with experience collaborating and driving consensus among teams across different work streams, priorities, and regions
Practical production skills with past experience at an experiential agency or managing experiential agency relationships
Detailoriented; elevating our brand through creating premium events and experiences

Preferred Qualifications:

Collaborative teamplayer; not afraid to take on small or large tasks to support the broader global team
Strong organization skills; proven project management, budget management, and overall event management experience
Resultsdriven; able to create thoughtful event strategy that drives towards business goals, and has experience measuring and recapping success from these activations
Creative; delivers unique event experiences that are reflective of and authentic to TikTok's creator community

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ $188522 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.

Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
