Duties:


  • Provides planning, development, coordination and guidance on all cyclic maintenance, minor and major construction, and future budgetary program requirements.
  • Develops the Annual Work Plan (AWP).
  • Submits a monthly budget review to the Chief.
  • Develops the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) documents based on integration of Resource Management Plan (RMP) and Military Construction Account (MCA).
  • Uses an automated system to maintain records and to generate reports, spreadsheets, and charts.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

Specialized Experience: Specialized experience is defined as work that involves
:1) Assisting with planning projects related to the construction, maintenance, and/or repair of facilities;
2) Assisting with formulating budget requirements for construction projects; and
3) Using an automated database to maintain records, generate reports, spreadsheets, and/or charts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (
GS-10).


Education:

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. [For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.]
