The Cash and Tax Office offers diverse and varied tasks in the field of financial administration.
The cash management department is responsible for handling all cash transactions of the city of Nuremberg and also serves as an enforcement authority.
The tax department assesses and collects local taxes, which play a significant role in financing public tasks, and also acts as a tax consultant for departments and public enterprises.
Your tasks:
- Processing of property tax matters, waste, street cleaning and sewage fees, i.e. reviewing tax bases, clarifying doubts and making ongoing adjustments to assessments
- Handling correspondence, answering phone and inperson customer inquiries
- Conducting conversations with taxpayers, property management companies, other departments and the tax office
Your profile:
Essential for this position:
- Civil service qualification for the second level of the administrative and financial career path, or
- Completed training as a public administration specialist (m/f/d) (alternatively, specialized examination I)
- Three-year commercial training,
- Legal assistant (m/f/d),
- Notary assistant (m/f/d),
- Social insurance specialist
