    3+ years of experience in building/remodeling in retail, hospitality, fuel stations, open store remodels, or fast food within the last 5 years.

    Join our client's rapidly growing team as a Construction Superintendent at a leading retail general contractor in California and the western United States.

    We are seeking a passionate individual with strong leadership skills and experience in coordinating subcontractors efficiently.

    As a Construction Superintendent, you will play a key role in ensuring the precision, thoroughness, and documentation of projects, guaranteeing they are completed on schedule and within budget.


    Responsibilities:
    Lead a team of subcontractors and personnel from project initiation to completion.
    Demonstrate a leadership presence, setting an example and clearly communicating expectations.
    Ensure quality craftsmanship by anticipating necessary meetings, inspections, and adhering to project specifications.
    Excel in organization and analytical skills to manage deadlines and navigate complex decision-making.
    Oversee construction activities, supervise field personnel, and conduct daily meetings with clients, the team, and inspectors.
    Utilize project management software for documenting progress and sending daily reports to the Project Team.


    Qualifications:
    5+ years of experience in a Superintendent role.

    3+ years of experience in building/remodeling in retail, hospitality, fuel stations, open store remodels, or fast food within the last 5 years.

    Proficient in math skills, including calculations, and able to read construction documents.
    Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Project, Word).
    Intermediate proficiency with project management software is a plus.
    Possession of a valid CA Driver's License, good driving history, and dependable transportation.
    Current OSHA 10 and CPR certification is a plus.
