    Essential Functions and Abilities Required:

    • Lead the field and set the standard of work for all team members and trade partners
    • Provide full time oversight to assigned project with a focus on schedule, site requirements, safety, quality, production tracking, and site cleanliness.
    • Organize and solve critical issues and tasks daily through clear communication.
    • Create construction schedules, perform regular updates, monitor logic relationships, and insert new activities and impacts.
    • Conduct effective weekly coordination meetings with trade foremen.
    • Maintain detailed daily logs and photo logs of all project activities
    • Manage the job site safety program and keep all project participants accountable to rules/regulations.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
    • Coordinate jobsite logistics and maintain relationships with neighboring occupants.
    • Coordinate and manage inspections required by jurisdictional authority to achieve project occupancy milestones.
    • Deliver projects with a high standard of quality.

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Building Fundamentals – has experience in commercial construction means and methods. Possesses strong construction knowledge and plan reading abilities.
    • Planning & Scheduling – Able to sequence and coordinate work to achieve project milestones.
    • Quality Control – Thorough understanding of plans, specifications, and code to ensure high quality results.
    • Safety – is competent and knowledgeable of all major construction hazards through past training and experience. Has the ability to effectively identify hazardous conditions and unsafe acts or practices. Can implement effective solutions to remedy construction hazards and lead a strong culture of safety on a jobsite.

    Education / Experience Required:

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent.
    • Experience should be in commercial construction, preferably in Health Care (OSHPD), Life Sciences, Higher Education, and Office Improvements.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
    • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, project management software (Procore), and scheduling software (Microsoft Project).
    • Interpersonal skills – ability to engage with clients, internal team members, and trade contractors in a constructive, productive way to overcome obstacles and achieve results
