    Job description


    Position Summary:
    The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization.

    This individual will be responsible for analyzing financial data, setting up accounting software, reconciling bank statements, preparing budget variances, and monitoring the organization's financial health.

    The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, self-starter who is willing to take on additional duties as required.


    Essential Functions:
    Analyze financial data and analyze health of the organization to determine trends and future needs.

    Set up accounting software and prepare for reconciliation.

    Prepare budget variances and set up sales tax calculations.

    Ensure accurate entry of purchase orders and purchase receipts.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Manage and maintain financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, payroll, expense reports, etc.

    Assist in the preparation of monthly reports as requested.

    Assist in the preparation of budgets as requested.

    Perform other duties as assigned.


    Competencies:
    Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.

    Self-motivated with an ability to work independently or as part of a team.


    Ability to work both independently or in conjunction with others in building strong organizational charts that foster effective decision making.

    Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) plus good written and verbal communication skills.

    Full-time


    Pay:
    $110, $130,000.00 per year
