Service Employee / Commis de Rang (m/f/d) at Scotts Corners, NY:


We, currently a team of 15 restaurant employees, are part of the gastronomic experience at a boutique resort hotel located near the university town of Freiburg im Breisgau.

We value individuality in our establishment - from the decor and menu offerings for both hotel guests and external visitors, to our team members.

Your qualifications:


  • Successfully completed training in restaurant or hotel management
  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Good knowledge of German and English, additional languages are a plus
  • Good manners and wellgroomed appearance

Your main tasks with us:


  • New culinary concept since reopening in late May a gourmet package including breakfast buffet, lunch snack buffet, traditional afternoon tea, and a 4course dinner of choice
  • Evening service for the 4course dinner as part of our gourmet package
  • Classic à la carte service for external guests in the evening
  • Managing your own small section
  • General service tasks
  • Providing food and beverage recommendations to guests
  • Assisting with events and functions at the hotel, banquet service
  • Supporting the training of restaurant and hotel staff
