May 23, 2024, 11:59 PM**The Research Infrastructure Department (FI) of the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin) is seeking a
student assistant (m/f/div) starting on July 1, 2024, for 10 hours per week.


Responsibilities:

  • Conducting scientific examination and preparation of unstructured data
  • Creating metadata for articles, tables, figures, and time series
  • Cleaning historical data series
  • Quality control of social and economic data

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Economics or Social Sciences
  • Basic knowledge of Excel
  • Previous experience in empirical research and data preparation, particularly in the social and economic fields
