    Job Summary:

    The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in keeping the apartment complex running smoothly. This position involves addressing maintenance requests promptly, fixing issues, and ensuring the property is well-maintained. The Maintenance Technician will also handle pool maintenance duties and assist with apartment turnovers.

    • Receive and respond to maintenance requests promptly
    • Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues
    • Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance needs
    • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to prolong equipment lifespan
    • Maintain cleanliness of the property, pool, and surrounding areas
    • Assist with apartment turnovers and manage necessary repairs
    • Ensure proper trash collection and disposal
    • Maintain an organized maintenance shop and storage areas
    • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Previous maintenance experience preferred
    • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
    • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Capability to work independently and collaboratively
    • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in tight spaces
    • Stamina for physically demanding tasks
    • Comfortable working outdoors in diverse weather conditions
