    **Patient Service Representative (4:30 pm - 1 am)**

    ****Patient Services Representative needed for a renowned medical center in Downtown Seattle****

    **Job ID: 18768 Pay Rate: $ $20.76 per hour Location: Seattle, WA (In-office) Contract To Hire Schedule: Fri - Tue from 4:30 pm to 1 am**

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Support reimbursement through the collection and verification of demographic and insurance information from new and established patients.

    Obtain and document organizational and federally mandated patient signatures.

    Initiate and update the patient registration systems as needed.

    Create medical records for use in patient care.

    Provide a welcome environment to all patients who arrive for care.

    Collect co-payments and/or pre-payments and facilitate on-time arrival of patients to the clinical areas.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    High school diploma required.

    2+ years of experience working in a health care setting (or related education or equivalency).

    Knowledge of medical terminology and third-party payer requirements required.

    Demonstrated excellence in customer service and/or patient care skills.

    Requires demonstrated organization, interpersonal communication, and strong computer skills.

    Must demonstrate problem-solving and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks successfully throughout the day.

    Must be able to work Friday to Tuesday from 4:30 pm to 1:00 am (PDT/PST).
