    Description

    Need a full stack developer proficient in Java, Java web apps, SQL, SQL Server, etc. Cloud experience would be a plus .

    We currently are building a new application and support others. We function as a DevOps team utilizing Agile methodology. This resource would be part a scrum team building these applications. The staff practices Agile methodology and a team with 3 to 6 developers located across North America, EST, CST, MST and PST. Our business partners reside in Ireland, MN and CA.

    Required Skills:

    • Unix, Java, DB, SQL experience
    • Experience with Spring/Spring Boot
    • Experience with building cloud enabled applications supporting micro service deployment (Azure, AWS)
    • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science
    Of the required skills listed, which would you consider the top 3? Please list your expectations regarding years of experience for each requirement. Java/Spring Boot, React, Azure

    What experience will set candidates apart from one another? React and Azure data (DataBricks, Synapse, etc)

    Are you open to candidates that cannot convert to FTE without sponsorship? Yes

    What does the team structure look like - how many members and what is the break-down of the teams skill sets (ex: 1 PM, 4 Developers, etc.)? 1 PM, 3-4 developers, Engineering Lead

    Preferred Skills:
    • Expert Development Stack (JAVA, SQL Server, Oracle, Scripting, etc.) skills
    • General knowledge of programming and databases, not dependent on technology (i.e. has a good grasp of the basicsprocesses, threads, database, etc.)
    • Significant knowledge of Web Services (SOAP, REST APIs, XML, JSON)
    • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, JQuery, React, WCF, Entity Framework and GIT
    • Experience with building cloud enabled applications supporting micro service deployment (Azure, AWS)
    • Experience in an Agile development environment including scrum and story tracking
    • Knowledge of TDD, CI pipeline and associated pipeline tooling
    • Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Problem solving and debugging skills
