Surveying Technician (m/f/d)

Our surveying technicians

  • capture and acquire geodata using state-of-the-art technology (robotic total stations, GPS, laser scanners, drones).
  • document, secure, and store the captured geodata.
  • process, qualify, and visualize the geodata.
  • calculate coordinates, areas, and volumes from the captured geodata.
  • design plans and maps as a basis for further planning.
  • are familiar with land registry, land registers, zoning and land use plans, and building law.
  • also have knowledge of land consolidation procedures (redistribution, land consolidation) and property valuation (basics).
The training
  • lasts three years.
  • takes place in the Geodata department.
  • includes theoretical education. In the first year of training, you will attend the vocational school center at Westerberg in Osnabrück twice a week, and once a week from the second year onwards. In addition, there may be weekly training sessions.
  • covers topics such as surveying processes, geodata processing, public tasks and technical surveys, as well as economics and social studies.
You
  • have at least a secondary school
