Description

The Doubletree by Hilton Washington DC North is hiring a Banquet Supervisor. Lead the Banquet team in serving guests during banquet functions to ensure a positive guest experience.

Compensation:

$20 per hour plus gratuities

Responsibilities:

Plan opening/closing assignments
Ensure that all public areas are neat and clean*Coordinate with banquet staff setups, changes, and time schedules for all functions as a banquet server; setting up, greeting, and serving the guests and breaking down the function
Inspect banquet areas at the end of the function to ensure all equipment is returned to its proper area and all areas are clean
Know the menu for each function served and be able to explain the major ingredients and preparation method for each item to be served
Perform any other jobrelated duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Banquet Supervisor experience is required preferably in a hotel or resort
Superior communication skills to provide information and associated services to hotel management and guests
Ability to transport up to 30lbs through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift
Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
Proven team player
Must have availability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
