- Full-time employment. Scheduled hours will be equal to 75 hours biweekly.
- Work hours vary between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm, Sunday - Saturday.
- Salary: The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable.

- Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or an Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk; or
- One year of lead retail sales work.

- You must pass a background investigation. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
A Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 supervises, manages, and directs activities in a state-owned Fine Wine & Good Spirits store. This position will supervise shifts and participate in a variety of sales activities including receiving shipments, stocking products, and provide excellent service to all customers in a clean and safe store environment. Throughout operations, assistant managers will assign and inspect the work of liquor store employees and instruct employees in the proper application of policies and procedures. Assistant Managers assist General Managers with the entire store's operations which include sales, store maintenance, merchandise and cash accounting, maintenance of records and all related functions.
