The Westfälisches Landestheater e.
V., located in Castrop-Rauxel (NRW), is currently seeking a Dresser for the evening performances as a temporary replacement.


The Westfälisches Landestheater provides high-quality theater art to non-theater cities and municipalities in North Rhine-Westphalia, and also performs in neighboring states and countries.

It offers the departments of drama and children and youth theater.

The main responsibilities of this position include:

  • Proper dressing of the artists for performances and assisting with costume changes during the show
  • Independent preparation and organization of performances and rehearsals
  • Checking costume lists for completeness and maintaining performance documents
  • Careful maintenance of costumes (washing, ironing, etc.)
  • Assisting in the costume and decoration department when needed

Requirements:

  • Experience in theater, film, or television is desirable
  • Ability to work independently and strong organizational skills
  • Polite demeanor and a good understanding of the needs of the artists
  • Reliability, ability to handle stress, and strong teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends
