- Self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Experience with automotive parts - ability to inspect, diagnose repair, and/or replace vehicle
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, or other build documentation.
- General knowledge of interior and exterior vehicle assembly, service, and aftermarket
- Experience with installation of wiring harnesses and thermal hose systems.
- Experience performing, and the use of power tools required, to modify sheet metal and plastic
- Perform and certify inspections; tests in accordance with technical documentation,
- Utilize computerized equipment to record build data for work performed.
- Operate a vehicle lift in a safe manner.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities to support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
- Participate when required in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and work
- Identify and support continuous improvement projects (e.g., cost reduction, efficiency
- Ensures 6S, housekeeping, and health and safety standards are maintained.
- May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description.
- 2 years' experience in an automotive environment, required.
- Experience working in a team environment required.
- Excellent oral and written skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Hi-lo license.
- Welding certification is a plus.
- Journeyman or Apprenticeship preferred.
