    Job Description


    Danfoss is seeking a hands-on, flexible Engineer to join our team. You will work in a team-oriented environment and will have exposure to many different processes and tasks.

    Job Responsibilities


    Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

    • Work across engineering functions to improve the quality/cost of existing products and launch new products.
    • Utilize advance quality tools and lean manufacturing concepts to ensure production departments are equipped with the proper process flow, tooling, equipment and standard work to meet local goals.
    • Strategic planning development with coordination, monitoring and reporting the status of the project.
    • Support operations in the assembly and testing of hydraulic valves.
    • Troubleshoot and improve assembly and test processes.
    • Identify and implement projects to support continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Provide LEAN training and leadership.
    • Support and promote the Root Cause Problem Solving and process.
    • Facilitate and guide MIFA/Value Stream Analysis and Kaizen activities.
    • Develop new processes and documentation to improve capacities and productivity.
    • Provide Manufacturing Engineering plans, schedules, and execution of projects.
    • Support safety, quality, delivery, cost, and labor targets by implementing process improvements.
    • Provide assistance to Maintenance with trouble shooting problems with manufacturing equipment and provide floor support for operations to maintain quality levels.

    The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
    • 2 years' experience in manufacturing engineering field including with PLC (AB, Siemens), ISO9001, and SAP.
    • 2 years' experience in assembly and testing of compensated hydraulic systems.
    • 2 years' experience in programming and troubleshooting using Guide Online programming language.
    • 2 years' experience in InfoPath parameter handling.
    • 2 years' experience in lean manufacturing applications.
