    Are you up for a challenge that will push your design technology skills to the next level? Clayco, the innovative design-builder, is looking for a motivated Design Technology Engineer to join our PT (Practice Technology) team. By becoming a part of the Clayco family, you'll have the chance to play a crucial role in shaping the future of a dynamic enterprise that is revolutionizing the design and construction industry.

    Working alongside our Practice Technology team, you will be engaged in various project activities that rely on cutting-edge technologies and processes. These elements are fundamental to our Digital Technology Practice, empowering us to enhance our project design and construction methods continuously. Your role will be pivotal in driving innovation and providing essential process support, positioning you as a key figure in our field.

    Collaborating closely with our internal architects, engineers, and other Clayco teams, Design Technology Engineers ensure the seamless digital transformation of project deliveries. They also establish strong partnerships with owners, project teams, and subcontractors.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Specialize in BIM to share your expertise with others
    • Integrate technology innovatively into our processes
    • Promote design thinking through adaptive technology usage
    • Contribute significantly to project lifecycles
    • Lead training programs on software platforms like Revit, Dynamo, and more
    • Provide continuous support and address issues through training sessions
    • Conduct external training on specialized subjects
    • Align generative design with sustainability principles
    • Incorporate building performance analysis into the design phase
    • Implement process automation and distributed computing
    • Advocate for efficient software evaluation and adoption
    • Offer technical assistance for visualization applications such as 3DS Max, Enscape, and others
    • Create and manage rendering assets
    • Collaborate with project teams to enhance visualization techniques
    • Engage in technology user groups and conference presentations
    • Experiment with gaming engines and digital twin development
    • Research and showcase new tools for potential integration
    • Enhance standards and templates for software applications
    • Work with IT to optimize infrastructure performance
    • Manage ACC processes related to architecture and engineering
    Requirements:
    • 3 to 5+ years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry
    • Hold a Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering
    • Minimum of 3+ years working with VDC/BIM processes
    • Licensed Architect or progressing towards licensure is a plus
    • Proficient in Autodesk Building Design Suite
    • Familiarity with generative design and reality capture
    • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
    • Collaborative and proactive mindset
    • Appreciation for both design and construction workflows
