    Description

    Job Title: Banking Specialist III - Sales Focus

    Are you ready to take on a pivotal role as a Banking Specialist III with a Sales Focus at First Bank? In this position, you will be much more than just a New Accounts Representative or Personal Banker - you'll be a specialist who excels in both operations and sales functions within a retail branch.

    Responsibilities:

    • Expand client relationships and build new ones by understanding their needs and providing solutions using various bank product features
    • Promote alternative delivery systems like Online Banking, ATM network, and Mobile Banking
    • Achieve branch and individual sales goals
    • Retain existing clients and acquire new ones through proactive calls and prospecting
    • Drive branch profitability by encouraging clients to explore other bank products
    • Participate in sales events and community service activities
    • Provide excellent client service by opening accounts, offering product information, and assisting with loan applications
    • Support commercial and small business clients with product inquiries and account support
    • Coach junior Banking Specialists on products, policies, and procedures

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Previous cash-handling experience preferred
    • Minimum of 24 months of sales and/or banking experience preferred
    • Life License (LB) preferred
    • NMLS registry required
    • Proven sales skills
    • Strong analytical and customer service skills
    • Ability to use a PC and alpha/numeric keyboard
    • Flexible work schedule, which may include Saturdays
