    Description
    Responsibilities PeopleTec is seeking a Software Systems Engineer for an opportunty to support a PEO AVN customer
    The Software Systems Engineer (SSE) will assist a Program Management Office (PMO) Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) Product Office (PO) with software system subject matter expertise on the Uncrewed Vehicle Control (UVC) Software efforts and supporting program planning and development activities

    Duties:

    • Provide software requirements management in a digital engineering environment.
    • Analyze, write, decompose and document UVC Software requirements in a digital engineering environment.
    • C ollect information and metrics on systems-level project specifications, performance requirements, known capabilities, and limitations as they relate to the UVC Software efforts.
    • Determines feasibility of proposed system modifications or design, ensuring the needs and requirements of the user will be met within time and cost requirements.
    • Designs systems software to meet project requirements, collaborating with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and other developers as needed.
    • Uses mathematical models and scientific analysis to predict and measure consequences and other outcomes of software system design.
    • Coordinates and schedules installation of software system

    Qualifications Required Skills/Experience :

    • Knowledgable on Modular Open System Approach (MOSA)
    • Knowedgable on Agile DevSecOps design and development principles
    • Knowledgabel of CAMEO and DOORS
    • Ability to review and analyze computer programs for various purposes.
    • Ability to analyze and address needs of users based on User Requirements, Walkthroughs, CONOPS, and TTPs.
    • Thorough understanding of computer engineering principles and procedures.
    • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Communication skills to interface with government and contractors to represent technical and programmatic positions
    • Ability to review and analyze computer programs for various purpses
    Travel: 10%


    • Must be a U.S
    Citizen


    • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work
    Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment
