    Responsibilities:

    • Contribute to high-level design of Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) application systems and their integration with aviation platforms.
    • Provide architectural oversight for the development of new products.
    • Articulate architectural vision, experiment with alternative approaches, and validate architecture against requirements.
    • Collaborate with product developers, managers, and customer experts to create software products with necessary features.
    • Offer technical advice to different departments and assist in integrating components built by developers.
    • Define system structure, core design features, and work with users to resolve complex project issues.
    • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to determine the most effective approach for meeting requirements.
    • Develop acceptance test requirements for complex systems in collaboration with designers, test engineers, and users.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Minimum of 16 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 14 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 10 years with Ph.D.
    • Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance
    • Experience in developing ASE architecture concepts using Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) for both enduring and Future Vertical Lift (FVL) platforms.
    • Skills in developing briefing materials, technical reports, and white papers for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Research expertise in modern network/communication approaches suitable for ASE.
    • Experience in overseeing requirements, design, development, and test of ASE software modules.

    Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This salary range is based on experience and other relevant factors.
