For our finance department in Canton Valley, CT, we are currently seeking a full-time:

Head of Finance Department (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Professional and disciplinary management of the administration and finance team of 7 employees
Crossfunctional control, coordination, and monitoring of the entire internal and external accounting of the group of 7 companies
Preparation of annual financial statements according to HGB, organization and operational support of audit processes
Organization and management of short and mediumterm planning processes
Continuous and sustainable optimization of existing processes and procedures in your area of responsibility, such as internal billing, etc.
Trustful and close cooperation with management, banks, auditors, and external partners

WHAT CONVINCES US:

You have several years of management experience in a mediumsized company and have a solid understanding of HGB
Proficient knowledge of standard PC applications (especially Word, Excel, Teams) is required
Experience with accounting software DATEV is an advantage
You think and act entrepreneurially and have an efficient working style with a keen eye for the essentials
In addition, you are communicative, decisive, and take responsibility
