- Cultivate a network across the decarbonization, electrification, renewables venture capital ecosystem to drive partnerships across a diverse channel of partners
- Leverage the state-of-the-art innovations and technologies to curate a continual stream of startup formation

- Prepare and present pitch decks alongside founders
- Work collaboratively cross-functionally to ensure success of new entities
- Educate and coach the research community on startup formation
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience
- Experience in venture capital
- Exposed to and well versed in technology concepts

GE Research is GE's innovation powerhouse where research meets reality. We create leading-edge technology in world-changing efforts like carbon capture for sustainability, hydrogen-powered electric flight, ultra-precision healthcare, and more. The purpose of the Technology Incubation Group is to drive growth by developing a system that results in the intelligent identification of "early investigation" projects to accelerate their game-changing platform potential. As the opportunities are identified, the organization will be responsible for architecting and connecting to external funding partners essential to advancing these programs in high value markets ($1B+). The Technology Incubation Group is new to GE Research and operates like a startup within GE; thus this position represents an exciting opportunity to shape the future trajectory of commercialization.To enable research funding, GE Research applies for government grants. As part of this grant process, we would like to ensure commercialization of ensuing technologies. The Director of Business Development Commercialization will be a partner to the research community and is responsible for identifying the commercialization market potential of grant ideas. S/he will also partner and negotiate with third parties who will assist with the future commercialization of these opportunities. The Director of Venture Capital Partnerships will establish a venture capital network focused on decarbonization, electrification, renewables and other energy sustainability for GE Research. S/he will negotiate startup deals in a way that maximizes likelihood of startup success.

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $208,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include health, welfare, retirement and paid leave.
