Description

The Schwarz IT department manages the entire digital infrastructure and all software solutions for the companies of the Schwarz Group.

This includes the selection, provision, operation, and further development of IT infrastructures, platforms, and business applications.

In order to support the departments in their business processes with optimal IT solutions, Schwarz IT gathers the requirements of the departments in consultation meetings and works together with them to develop professional and high-performance IT solutions.

Your tasks:
Together with your colleagues, you will equip the logistics centers of the Lidl Inbound Supply Chain in Europe with state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, laying the foundation for a highly available network operation

Specifically, this means:

Participation and takeover of IT project management in initial installation, expansion, and modernization projects
Interface between our international Lidl department, our internal IT specialist teams, and our external service providers
Gathering infrastructure requirements for the software solutions to be rolled out at the logistics centers (warehouse management, yard management, IoT, mobile device management, etc.)
Participation in the conception and planning of passive and active network infrastructure (WAN, LAN, WLAN)
Obtaining, reviewing, and commissioning offers for project implementation
Planning and monitoring project progress in terms of quality, cost, and time
Coordination and management of our IT partners in Germany and abroad
Active support of the rollout and transition to operation
Processing of support and operational tasks
Management of disruptions in our IT infrastructure
