    CDW's Senior Manager Benefits is a key member of the Coworker Success leadership team and a Benefits team subject matter expert.

    The Senior Benefits Manager is responsible for the administration of U.S and Canada benefit programs and perks.

    They work closely with the Benefits team Director and the Coworker Experience Shared Services team to manage existing benefit programs as well as research, analyze and propose benefit program recommendations and changes.

    The Senior Manager Benefits will be part of critical work to continue to assess and transform our benefits offerings at CDW aligned to business needs and talent attraction.

    Key Areas of Responsibility

    Own on-going strategic design and development of CDW's benefit programs.

    Manage the administration of health & welfare plans for CDW (i.e. health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, EAP, workers' compensation, etc).

    Lead the Annual Enrollment process (including preparing coworker communications, sytem updates, auditing coworker benefit rates and deductions).


    Partner with senior leadership and build strong relationship with consultants/brokers to design competitive and attractive benefit plans consistent with CDW's vision and culture.


    Analyze competitive data, participate in various benefit surveys and report on the impact of plan design alternatives to effectively manage long-term costs and to maintain competitiveness in the market place.


    Demonstrate an understanding and manage the impact of the benefits plans from a financial perspective, including budgeting, development and reporting.


    Monitor plans to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and legal requirements, including ERISA, HIPPA, DOL, and COBRA; assess impact of legislative changes.

    Stays current with industry and functional trends and leverage these insights to develop and propose benefit solutions


    Lead a team of Benefits professionals including career planning and development, performance management, succession planning, and leading the team's goals, actions and outcomes to support an engaged workforce.

    Education and/or Experience Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or Psychology; continued professional development through certification, or master's degree.

    5 years benefits experience, including experience managing the benefits function and a team.

    2 years of experience leading a team

    Required Qualifications

    Experience administering health and welfare and retirement plans in the US and Canada required

    Ability to demonstrate indepth benefits knowledge and translate complex data and/or benefits information into easily understood terms.


    Knowledge of pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirement both adopted and pending affecting employee benefit and compensation programs, including ERISA, IRS regulations, COBRA, FMLA, and Section 125.

    Ability to develop, maintain and strengthen high level internal and external partnerships, working across cultures and other boundaries.

    Proficiency in Workday and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Strong reporting and analytical skills.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focus.

    Highly collaborative with ability to bring diverse groups and stakeholders together

    Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to navigate and work effectively across all levels of the organization

    Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast paced, performance driven environment

    Ability to influence and lead those you don't directly manage

    Strong attention to detail with the ability to creatively problem solve

    Demonstrated ability to take a business need and offer a strategic solution with CDW's talent strategy in mind

    Strong communication and change management skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    Benefits experience in the tech industry
