    Welcome to the School Nurse Position at Our School!

    Salary: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

    Join us from September 3rd, 2024 to June 17th for a 40-week contract. Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM!

    Overview: Are you passionate about nurturing student health and well-being in the school environment? As a School Nurse, your role involves providing healthcare services, health education, and guidance to students, faculty, and staff to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Healthcare Services:
      • Conduct health assessments, screenings, and provide first aid and emergency care.
      • Administer medications, manage student illnesses, and support those with chronic health conditions.
    • Health Education:
      • Develop health education programs, integrate them into the curriculum, and offer counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
    • Health Promotion:
      • Advocate for healthy policies, organize health campaigns, and collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance services.
    • Record Keeping and Documentation:
      • Maintain accurate health records, document incidents, and communicate effectively with parents/guardians and healthcare providers.
    • Collaboration and Communication:
      • Work with school staff, parents/guardians, and healthcare providers to address health concerns and promote student development.

    Qualifications:

    • Current RN license in WA.
    • School nurse certification is a plus.
    • CPR and first aid certification.
    • Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of pediatric health.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Team player dedicated to creating a safe learning environment.
