    How This Role Will Be Impactful


    In this role you will serve as the leader of all HR functions for Farmer Focus, executing human resources strategies that not only align with Farmer Focus's mission, vision, and values, but also propel us towards becoming a best-in-class employer.

    You will be dedicated to shaping and nurturing the culture, building strong trust by enhancing the team member experience, implementing company-wide best practices, driving effective internal communication, and leveraging metrics to make data-driven decisions.

    This role will report to the Chief People Officer.

    Job Duties


    • Manage the overall HR function, providing strategic oversight and leadership that aligns with the organization's growth goals and core values
    • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to leadership
    • Draft and implement staffing budget (in coordination with Operations and FP&A), as well as the budget for the human resources department
    • Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to attract and retain top talent, aligning with the organization's long-term goals and culture
    • Provide expert guidance on all people-related matters
    • Continuously grow the capabilities of the HR team to be a true strategic consultant to the organization and its leaders. Mentor and guide the HR team to cultivate a high-performing and collaborative department
    • Lead succession planning processes to ensure a continuous talent pipeline, preparing the organization for future leadership needs and transitions
    • Utilize HR data analytics to make informed decisions and report on HR initiatives and provide data-driven insights to support strategic planning and decision-making
    • Track key metrics to evaluate company and department performance
    • Ensure full compliance with labor laws and regulations, adapting HR policies as necessary.
    • Implement rigorous compliance practices that align with the evolving needs of the growing organization
    • Collaborate with leadership team to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention
    • Identify staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management.
    • Administer and oversee administration of human resource programs including but not limited to: leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale
    • In coordination with the Head of L&D, implement initiatives that cultivate a workplace culture aligned with our core values, while respecting and appreciating various perspectives.
    • Champion the development and execution of a total rewards approach to employee compensation and benefits that strikes a balance between quality, cost-effectiveness, and perceived employee value

    What You Bring to This Role:

    • 10+ years of experience in human resources
    • 5+ years of experience leading a high-functioning human resources team
    • Experience leading HR teams that support the entirety of a manufacturing operation (i.e. supporting manufacturing teams as well as the corporate teams that support those operations)
    • Track record of leading with a culture of accountability while simultaneously fostering a positive employee experience
    • Demonstrated experience as a strategic and results-oriented leader; strong business orientation and be able to react quickly and effectively to changing situations
    • Ability to effectively prioritize work for yourself and your team when competing priorities and timelines exist
    • Proven change management experience
    • Experience in (either doing or leading): benefit negotiation and plan design; payroll processing; high-volume recruiting

    • HR experience supporting poultry processing operations
    • Experience leveraging Workday as an HRMS (to include Recruiting and Payroll)
