Human Resources Generalist - Employee Leave and Payroll Administration

Our Human Resources Generalist - Employee Leave and Payroll Administration is someone who has the opportunity to support, assist, and take care of our team every day.


They are responsible for employee leave programs including:
family medical, personal, bereavement, non-work-related light-duty, and short-term disability. Additional responsibilities include resort payroll, various employee programs, and general HR functions. The HR Generalist serves as the primary point of contact related to their areas of expertise. They also serve as a resource for the HR team, resort employees and management on additional HR topics.


Required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to prioritize work in a busy work environment and adhere to deadlines
  • Prior customer service/employee relations experience
  • Experience with or aptitude for general payroll and or accounting processes
  • Must be at least 18

Preferred

  • Previous office/administrative/payroll/employee assistance experience
  • Knowledge of resort operations
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Typical Schedule

  • Days:
  • Monday-Friday, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Hours:
  • 9am5pm, evenings as needed

Core Responsibilities

  • FMLA and employee personal leave administration. Including communicating effectively and professionally with employees to process requests.
  • Manage employee nonworkrelated lightduty requests
  • Administer employee programs including employee vacation requests (RCI Weeks Program)
  • Administer bereavement leave and memorial donations
  • Oversee resort payroll including personnel maintenance, payroll processing, paycheck distribution, employment inquiries, and recordkeeping using and maintaining a Human Resources Integrated System
  • Assists with corporate and accounting information requests
  • Manage employee leave requests including family medical, personal, and bereavement
  • Support HR team with administrative functions/programs/events as needed
  • Participate in employee feedback programs/committees
  • Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management
