Job description:


Purpose/goals
Provides general Human Resources support to the Human Resources Manager and/or the Plant Manager, plant leadership team and employees.

Provides on-site support for designated facility or facilities for employment relations, engagement activities, recruiting and retention initiatives and support with strategic initiatives.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies. Actively participates with Talent Acquisition to share recruitment strategies in support of successful efforts to maintain staffing levels and improve retention
  • Assist employees and leadership team with training on applicable HR Self-Service/Payroll/Learning Management systems
  • Maintains and updates attendance system or records for all hourly and salaried plant personnel (as appropriate)
  • Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement initiatives
  • Assist employees with policy questions and guidance on how to navigate and access information on company intranet. Acts as a resource for employees to funnel issues as appropriate to payroll, benefits, etc. Advises employees and management on HRrelated issues
  • Develop and maintain reports as required and requested by manufacturing or corporate. Share trends and analysis from reports in support of metrics or measurements of various HR initiatives
  • Run regular audit reports in HR systems and address any discrepancies in data
  • May administer corrective actions for hourly employees
  • Assists with associate performance appraisal process
  • Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation and onboarding programs. May also assist with training coordination as needed
  • Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective actions
  • Always maintains confidentiality in dealing with confidential matters and protected information
  • Assists employees in providing information on leave process and how to file claims
  • Complies with Federal, State and Local legal requirements by following policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS

Shift:
Must be open to a split shift two days a week till 10pm


Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or human resources or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Experience:
Minimum of three years of experience in human resources is required.


Skills:
Demonstrated organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of applicable state and federal employment laws helpful.


Other Light travel may be required on occasion.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 to $70,000 + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day k and PTO.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
