- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, placem en t of orders, prices and quotations, complaints, and scheduling of deliveries and installations.
- Initiate telephone calls to customers to g en erate sales .
- Obtain orders from customers and sales repres en tatives; en ter work order, credit return, return authorization, pick ticket, and service request; file paperwork accordingly.
- Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products. Obtains information on pricing specifications, uses and availability .
- Manage schedules for project by coordinating with out s ide sale s , jobsites, and assigned customers .
- Check on back orders and resolve any out s tanding issues; solve billing problems and compile data for closing .
- Handles special orders and advanced pricing; assist with pricing and special price lists .
- Develop and grow professional relationships with customers .
- Resolve jobsite issues and customer problems .
- Comply with Company's att en dance policy by mai n t aining regular and predictable att en dance .
- Perform other duties as assigned by location managem en t.
- Minimum education required - High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum experi en ce required - 1 year in building material industry with basic knowledge of product and application. 1+ years Inside Sales experi en ce preferred.
- Special skills required - Ability to operate computer, calculator & cash register. Knowledge of building supplies, applications, related equipm en t, and/or construction industry. Good interpersonal and customer relations skills and excell en t oral and writt en communication skills. Should be fa mil iar with inv en tory and inv en tory control.
- Must be able to walk through out yards, plants, and offices.
- Physical demands include standing and walking for ext en ded periods of time, b en ding or stooping, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

Position Overview
The Inside Sales Repres en tative assists with new and existing customer sales and provides product support to out s ide sale s repres en tatives. This position provides quotes and product dim en sion information, both in person and over the phone.
