    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required.

    Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

    Location: Chester, Connecticut

    Company: Soliant Education

    Position Type: Full-time

    Duration: ASAP to 6/10/24

    Grade Level: PreK-4th grade (Elementary)

    Responsibilities:

    • Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
    • Work one-on-one with students with cognitive and behavioral disabilities to teach new skills and improve behavior.
    • Collect data on student progress and behavior to assist in treatment planning and evaluation.
    • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other members of the educational team to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions.
    • Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) guidelines.

    Requirements:

    • Must hold current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
    • Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    • Passion for working with students with special needs and dedication to promoting their success.

    Pay: $25-28 per hour (commensurate with experience)
