Position Details:

Supervisory Opportunities:Opportunity for both direct and indirect supervision.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside speech and occupational therapists in a collaborative environment.


General Responsibilities:


  • Under the guidance and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the ABA therapist will implement individualized 1:1 and group treatment plans for children with autism, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
  • Collect accurate, systematic data of patient progress in skill acquisition, behavior management, and/or daily living activities for each therapy session.
  • Complete required documentation in a timely fashion including daily notes, progress monitoring, and other necessary reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, with a preferred degree in psychology, child development, special education, applied behavior analysis, or a related field
  • 6 months experience as an ABA Therapist, behavior technician, or registered behavior technician preferred
  • Demonstrate adequate knowledge and understanding of basic ABA principles
  • RBT certification preferred, but not required (required to obtain RBT certification within 60 days of hire
- we'll provide you with the training and all the tools you need)

  • Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Key characteristics: adaptable, organized, detailoriented, highenergy, and positive and compassionate attitude.
  • Highly proficient with technology, including excel, google workspace, EMR, and CRM systems.
