JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
This position serves as a key member of the Human Resources leadership team by participating in the development, implementation, and administration of compensation, benefit and wellness programs across the company.
This role has a team of direct reports, and executes project and data analysis related work with a focus on markets across the Company's footprint and will also sometimes lead projects as they relate to total rewards programs (salary and incentive plans, job evaluation, salary structure
and benchmarking, company paid and voluntary benefits, wellness programs, savings and executive compensation, recognition programs etc).
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Leads the review, design, development and implementation of all compensation and benefits
programs, policies and procedures to ensure overall market competitiveness and cost effectiveness
· Evaluates the effectiveness of existing programs and recommends plan revision as well as new plans which are consistent with total reward trends and company objectives.
· Keeps up to date of changes in local regulations for compensation and benefits in each of the states the Company employs colleagues. Ensures all plans are in compliance with company policies, federal legislation and other government and regulatory requirements
· Conducts detailed analysis of workforce, compensation, and financial data as it relates to human capital to identify trends and propose solutions to strategic business needs.
· Conducts job analyses and review requests for new or revised jobs including competitive analysis of offers.
· Key driver of analysis and decisions related to selection of benefit vendors and wellness service providers, including negotiation of services and ongoing review of services to ensure company philosophy is consistent.
· Monitors administrative costs of benefit programs and recommends cost management strategies including alternative methods for administration and funding. Prepares budgetary recommendations and assists in the monitoring, verifying and reconciling of budgeted funds.
· Reviews and advises senior hire compensation, working closely with partners in HR
· Analyze, recommend a standard relocation benefit for current and new Azurity colleagues.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Bachelor's or master's degree in Mathematics, Business, Economics, Statistics or related with ideally 10+ years of broad compensation and benefits experience or related
· Statistical analysis and modeling related to compensation, rewards, incentive programs or similar
· Experience with employment and income tax laws
· Knowledge of state specific payroll practices and employee benefits policies, procedures and reporting requirements helpful. Especially in states: Massachusetts, Georgia, North Carolina and Kansas
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills and ability to develop models to analyze and forecast compensation and benefits expenses using Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills and HRIS platforms and reporting tools. Ability to build advanced charts and data models and excellent financial analytical skills.
· Strong presentation and written skills
· Knowledge of the "ADP" HRIS platform is a plus.
