- Manages day-to-day operations of Media Platforms, Video/Media inventory, Technical support, and Data Reporting (Brightcove)
- Ensures compliance terms for video hosting (Brightcove), preventing overcharges, additional savings by reducing storage footprint, etc.
- Assesses and makes recommendations on platform alternatives
- Use in-house & third-party tools to support VOD assets while optimizing video encoding, packaging, and delivery
- Consults with internal technology and business analyst teams, as well as external vendors (when necessary), to develop data pipelines (APIs) for video performance data
- Consult with clients in the early stages of designing video solutions focusing on interactivity, engagement, and performance
- Creates and analyzes standardized reports, pulling together performance reports from media platforms and internal systems
- Serves as an expert in available tools and digital technology to solve business problems, vets and makes recommendations about vendor solutions
- Bachelor's Degree in Production, Media, or Platform Administration?????
- 5+ years Media production expierence
- Media expertise, including workflow, platform management (Brightcove), and back-end coding knowledge (API, CSS)????????

The Media Operations Manager, Platforms partners with a number of cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver and manage end-to-end media program execution.
This position significantly impacts shaping processes and advancing capabilities to scale the digital media function globally.The Media Operations Manager, Platforms works with the Learning Experience Media Team and is the primary owner of the day-to-day operation of the Media Management network, including the Brightcove platform (including accounts management, player evolution, and distribution) and how that integrates with Kaplan's Learning Management Systems.
This role is the central point for delivery from video producers to the asset delivery systems and is responsible for designing and implementing an asset taxonomy, last-mile delivery, pulling and analyzing regular performance and engagements reports, LMS migrations as needed, enhancing assets with interactivity in player and making recommendations to LX Media and Product leadership on enhancing asset performance.
