Duration, Structure:
The professional internship or recognition year follows the school education to become a state-recognized educator and takes place for one year in a municipal daycare center

Before the recognition year can be completed, trainees must pass the exams set by the technical schools or academies with a certain grade average

Practical training:
Knowledge acquired during the school education at the technical academy and through internships can now be applied and tested in practice

Introduction to all areas of work and independent group leadership with gradually increasing responsibilities
