Position Available:
Part-Time Custodian

Schedule:
Mon - Thurs evenings, rotating Saturdays & Sundays, additional hours as needed.


Salary:
$20.73/hr plus benefits package.


Description:
Perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout library buildings and grounds.

Custodians are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities, for

the opening, closing & securing of our facilities, and for the setup & breakdown of programs.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Mopping, Waxing, Vacuuming; Cleaning and dusting; Washing windows; Emptying

garbage/recycling cans; Cleaning bathrooms and replenishing supplies; Moving furniture and

equipment as directed; Performing grounds maintenance work and shoveling snow / applying

sand/salt; Opening and closing buildings and grounds; Minor repairs and other duties as

assigned.


Skills and Qualifications:
Working knowledge of the materials, methods and equipment used in custodial work; ability to

understand and follow oral and written instructions; ability to make minor repairs and

adjustments to cleaning equipment.
