As a Berlin-based personal consulting boutique, we are exclusively searching for our client, a real estate company located in the heart of Berlin, for the perfect candidate for the position of Senior Accountant/Financial Accountant (m/f/d) who is eager to drive the development and expansion of the company's accounting department.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of VAT returns and assistance in the preparation of tax returns for all relevant tax types
Responsibility for the accounting processes of multiple companies
Monthly preparation of financial statements according to German GAAP (HGB)
Management of subsidiary ledgers, such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets
Close collaboration with the Head of Finance

Qualifications:

Degree in finance or accounting or equivalent education
Several years of professional experience, proficiency in German GAAP (HGB); knowledge of IFRS is a plus
Proficient in working with ERP systems, preferably MS Dynamics D 365 F&O
Strong knowledge of MS Office
Analytical skills and strategic thinking are your strengths
Handson mentality
Independent, wellorganized, and good communication skills
Fluent in German (C2 level); knowledge of English is a plus
