Doncasters is an internationally oriented manufacturer of metallic components for tolerance-critical applications with production facilities in Europe, USA, and Mexico.

At the Driggs, ID location, Doncasters Precision Castings-Driggs GmbH produces blades and vanes for aircraft engines and stationary gas turbines using the investment casting process.

The Driggs facility casts both polycrystalline and directionally solidified or single-crystal components.

Your responsibilities

  • Xraying turbine blades (operating Xray equipment)
  • Comparing weights
  • Developing and evaluating films
  • Partially setting up and operating the Xray equipment, evaluating results on screen
  • Documenting measurement results using a PC
  • Assisting in the Xray room and finishing department
  • Responsible management of the film storage
  • Ongoing inspection of batches for completeness, completing if necessary, quality control (visual inspection) of turbine blades
  • Inputting data into the production data acquisition system (currently Syspro)

Requirements:


Your profile

  • Completed vocational training in a manual trade, preferably in a foundry
  • First professional experience in an industrial production environment
