  • The Lead Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for the quality of procured services, materials, and products in the nuclear business.
  • Perform Supplier Quality Engineer activities focusing on supplier approval, supplier qualification and quality control of the procurement activities.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with 7 years of professional experience in quality, engineering, nuclear operations, manufacturing, sourcing or equivalent discipline; OR Associate Degree from an accredited college, with 10 years of professional experience in quality, engineering, nuclear operations, manufacturing, sourcing or equivalent discipline.
  • Ability and willingness to work at GE Hitachi's Wilmington, NC site on a daily basis.
  • Experience working within a nuclear QA program in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Engineering, Operations or Sourcing activities.
  • Knowledge of quality and sourcing disciplines, including supplier development / management, quality systems.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude in supplier quality, design engineering or manufacturing engineering role.
