We are seeking a passionate and experienced Quality Manager to lead our ongoing pursuit of quality excellence.
This role will be responsible for maintaining our ISO 9001 compliant Quality Management System (QMS) while actively driving continuous improvement initiatives across all departments.
You will be a crucial part of ensuring our products and services meet the highest standards, exceeding customer expectations and market demands.
Responsibilities:
QMS Oversight:
Manage and maintain the company's ISO 9001 certified QMS, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.
Conduct internal audits and reviews to identify and address potential quality issues.
Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to resolve quality non-conformances.
Oversee and manage documentation control for all QMS-related procedures and policies.
Prepare and deliver presentations on QMS processes and initiatives to leadership and all departments.
Quality Control:
Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans for materials, processes, and finished products.
Lead and manage the activities of the quality control team, including inspection, testing, and data analysis.
Utilize materials testing experience, specifically
mention specific testing methods relevant to your industry, e.g., tensile testing, microscopy, etc. , to assess material properties and ensure adherence to specifications.
Investigate and resolve quality deviations, collaborating with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improvement across all departments and processes.
Implement and monitor the effectiveness of continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles and statistical analysis tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to champion a culture of quality within the organization.
Training and Communication:
Develop and deliver training programs on QMS procedures and quality best practices to all employees.
Effectively communicate quality-related information to leadership, teams, and external stakeholders.
Facilitate team collaboration and problem-solving around quality issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably within an ISO 9001 certified environment.
Demonstrated expertise in implementing and maintaining a QMS, including conducting audits, analyzing data, and identifying improvement opportunities.
Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and other quality improvement methodologies.
Extensive experience in materials testing methodologies relevant to your industry.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
