    Description


    Boat Owners Association of the United States (BoatUS) is seeking a highly motivated Email Marketing Specialist to join our organization.

    In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Association and Foundation by utilizing your experience with email marketing tools, including Salesforce and WhatCounts, to drive the e-mail marketing calendar.

    In this role, we are looking for a candidate that has foundational experience with HTML and can provide analysis for email marketing results.

    Job Description

    • Execute comprehensive marketing communications strategies leveraging email channels to achieve business goals, encompassing customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
    • Develop captivating email content, encompassing copywriting, design elements, and multimedia assets, aligning seamlessly with brand aesthetics and audience preferences.
    • Manage the email marketing communications calendar, meticulously scheduling and deploying campaigns across diverse audience segments and touchpoints.
    • Harness the power of email automation tools to orchestrate triggered and drip campaigns, meticulously tailoring messaging to customer behavior, lifecycle stages, and segmentation.
    • Conduct rigorous A/B testing and dissect campaign performance metrics (including open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates) to iterate and optimize campaigns for maximum impact.
    • Segment email lists based on demographic data, behavioral patterns, and preferences to deliver personalized and targeted communications.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including creative media, publications, and product development, ensuring alignment of email marketing initiatives with overarching marketing and business objectives.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing communications, constantly innovating and refining strategies.
    • Ensure strict adherence to email marketing regulations (such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and industry best practices to safeguard sender reputation and optimize deliverability.
    • Provide back up to Social Media marketing team across multiple platforms.
    • Conduct other duties as assigned.
    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
    • Proven track record (2-5 years) in marketing communications, with a strong emphasis on email marketing.
    • Proficiency in utilizing email marketing platforms (Marketing Cloud, WhatCounts, etc.) and marketing automation tools.
    • Exceptional copywriting skills coupled with a keen eye for creative design.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data analysis.
    • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, essential for effective teamwork in a dynamic environment.
    • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
    • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for basic email template customization is advantageous.
    • Certification in email marketing or related disciplines is a plus.
