    Description
    This Los Angeles, CA based opportunity is with an established international manufacture of high-end research systems. These high-end niche systems are used for materials research for customers in academia, micro-electronics and semiconductor. There are not many competitors that do what they can do.

    As a Field Service Engineer you will support these systems throughout the greater LA area. There will be occasional travel to other areas of the country but will have a heavy emphasis on S. CA , the majority of the customers in CA are in this region. Responsibilities will include installation, pm, repair, upgrades and customer support.

    This is a small profitable company that is growing at a steady pace. Their systems are used to help grow and develop the next generation of semiconductors. They are playing a big role in quantum computing and nanotechnology. They offer a base salary, some overtime, possible year end bonus and mileage reimbursement.


    Background required:
    Experience supporting/ servicing high-end complex instruments used in related fields (semiconductor or scientific)
    Combination of mechanical and electrical skills
    Ability to travel throughout the Region and country as needed
    Bachelor's in a science or engineering field or military experience
    Must be located in the LA area
