    Southbay Structure, Inc. is a structural design and consulting firm based in Fremont, California. With over 500 completed projects in the past 3 years, our team of licensed and registered structural engineers specializes in the design of new commercial building projects, as well as remodeling, tenant improvements, and additions to existing buildings.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Level Structural Engineer at Southbay Structure, Inc. The Senior Level Structural Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including calculations, structural analysis, structural engineering, civil engineering, and computer-aided design (CAD).

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years working experience in structural engineering required
    • Strong knowledge and experience in calculations, structural analysis, and structural engineering
    • Proficiency in civil engineering principles and practices
    • Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
    • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
    • Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus
