Patrick Lee

I am currently an undergraduate majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Mathematics. I love to build or design new applications that people could use in the real world. I have experience working in the frontend, but I am open to learning new skills to grow as a software engineer.

I've interned for two startup companies so far. At my first startup Opal, I worked with the full stack team to create a software application to help students discover their own career paths by connecting with experienced mentors. I developed a persistent login tool using Google SSO in React Native with 8 full stack developers and developed transition screens using React Native to ensure cross-platform compatibility between iOS and Android. I am currently interning for a different startup company Drem to create a Web3 social media platform for users investing in cryptocurrency within a team of 11 software engineers. I also structure the website's landing page in React.js, develop the user post interface with Next.js, and lead engineers to develop reusable components on the front end for cleaner source code.

I am currently studying at Santa Clara University in Computer Science and minoring in Mathematics. Some relevant foundational courses I took were Data Structures, Object-Oriented Programming, and Algorithms. I also took other elective classes like computer graphics, artificial intelligence, and operating systems.
