Description

Material Handler

Duties:

Perform order picking and packing using a warehouse management system
Load and unload materials from trucks and containers
Operate cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers to move materials within the warehouse
Assist in inventory management and cycle counting
Follow safety protocols and adhere to OSHA guidelines
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure efficient operations
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar role preferred
Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers
Familiarity with warehouse management systems for order processing and inventory control
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials
Excellent organizational and time management skills
